• You start in the open bay. North of the 79th Street Causeway the bay is wide and residential, so you reach full-speed water within minutes instead of idling through a busy marina.
• The sandbar is close. The Haulover sandbar is 5–10 minutes away by jet ski; a 2-hour rental covers it with a long swim stop.
• The skyline is still reachable. Downtown Miami and Star Island are 20–25 minutes south, so a 3-hour ride does both.
• Fewer crowds, easier logistics. Parking instructions come with your booking, and check-in takes minutes.

What the ride looks like from here

1 hour ($189): a loop through the Venetian Islands or a fast run north toward Haulover and back. Enough for a first ride.

2 hours ($349, 2.5 hours on the water): the sandbar swim stop, then back along the Miami Beach side with the Bal Harbour towers on your left.

3 hours ($499): sandbar plus the Downtown skyline and Star Island.

Full Day ($649, 4 hours): everything above with long stops, plus Key Biscayne and the Cape Florida lighthouse on calm days.

Requirements and what to bring

• The person who books and signs must be 21+ with photo ID. Drivers 14+ with a Florida boater safety card if born on or after January 1, 1988 (30-minute online certificate).
• A credit card for the $150 refundable security hold per jet ski.
• Sunscreen, towel, water, sunglasses with a strap. We provide life vests, fuel and GPS.
• Arrive 30 minutes early. No alcohol before or during the ride.
